Because I believe Mission: Impossible heavily takes influence from it, especially the Brian De Palma and Christopher Mcquairre era. Yes and no, I can't agree any resemblance is more than coincidence. 3 Days is an iconic film. The moment where the hero calls in to HQ is lifted directly from that film. Great film.
