William Wallace, en gaélico escocés Uilleam Uallas (Elderslie, 3 de abril de 1270 [2] -Londres, 23 de agosto de 1305) fue un soldado escocés, de ascendencia galesa, que dirigió a su país contra la ocupación inglesa del rey Eduardo I de Inglaterra en la primera guerra de Independencia de Escocia.
