3 de ago. de 2021 · On this subreddit, I learned the youtubepp method of downloading Youtube videos. That has been working great since the Firefox extension method stopped working. Yesterday, the youtubepp method stopped, and a screen said that y2mate was discontinued. Anyone have an alternative method?

There's a web browser (like google) app called Brave, and it has cool features like built in adblockers and VPNs, but on iPhone, by pressing the 3 dots in the corner and tapping "Add to Playlist", you can add your videos to a playlist where you can then hold the video and click "Save for Offline Cache" Afaik, you can only use the playlist on iPhone.
9 de jul. de 2023 · So a while ago on Discord, somebody asked if there were any good sites to download videos from YouTube, and somebody recommended to use Y2mate.com. I want to use it, but I'm paranoid to do so because I don't want to risk getting a virus on my phone or on my computer.

22 de ago. de 2023 · I usually triple-check if a site is secure before downloading anything off it, however, after searching up Youtube to mp3 websites the one I ended up using was y2mate after seeing some positive reviews here, on Reddit. The thing is, I didn't really look deeper into it, I don't even know why.
Is Y2mate.com safe? I have heard people recommend it and I have heard people not recommend it. From what I understand the only problem is the ads (such as fake download buttons, which dont affect me since I have an ad blocker) and fake y2mates. 11 de dic. de 2023 · So I download a YouTube video from time to time. I use the site Y2Mate. I know the ads and cookies are unsafe. But I’m wondering are the mp4 files themselves safe. And is this true for my windows computer and/or iPhone aswell?
25 de nov. de 2023 · I've used Y2mate quite a bit; but if that fails to work for some reason, a quick search (on DuckDuckGo) reveals alternatives. One will usually work. I recently downloaded the official "Sympathy for the Devil" lyric video (1080p), after Youtube refused to play it without interruptions.
13 de nov. de 2023 · I'm seeing very conflicting statements. scamadviser.com is saying the website has a trust score of 100, but a new, random tab opens everytime I click the download button (Avast and MalwareBytes isn't picking anything up, basic version)
